We may share hashed contact information from our marketing database with social media and advertising companies such as Facebook and Google. If you choose to log into your myLennar account through a social networking or authentication service, Lennar and that service may share certain information with each other about you and your activities.

Allowing analytics companies and advertising networks to collect your Usage Information may be considered a “sale” of personal information under the laws of some states because these companies may use the cookie data for their own purposes outside of the services they provide to us. Also, some of our online advertising may be considered “targeted advertising” under the laws of some states. You may elect to opt-out from sales of your personal information collected on our Sites or used for targeted advertising purposes by using the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” option available on the Sites. See “How You Can Restrict Cookies’ for information about managing the use of cookies when you visit our Sites. How We Use and How You Can Limit Cookies and Interest-Based Advertising

Data analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies on our Online Services to obtain information about how our Online Services are used and to analyze visiting patterns. These technologies support some of the features of our Online Services including maintaining your myLennar account login information between visits. The use of cookies and similar technologies for mobile applications also allows us to recognize your IP address or mobile application identifier, measure activity and usage such as the time and length of your visit, the pages you look at, the sites you browse before and after you visit our site, and the name of your internet service provider.l

We obtain usage and activity data from Lennar Affiliates that operate separate websites and from third parties that host or manage certain features of our Online Services. Each of these companies has its own policies on the collection and use of data collected using cookies and other internet technologies.

We may engage third parties, such as Google Analytics, to collect activity and usage data. Lennar may disclose identifying personal information to a third-party data analytics provider. The provider may monitor a user’s interactions with our Online Services and combine this data with data from other websites monitored by the same service provider and then use these findings for its own business and commercial purposes. The provider may have means of correlating data from our Website to an identifiable individual, in which case the processing of personal information will be the responsibility of the service provider.

To learn more about how Google collects and processes data and the choices Google may offer to control these activities, you may visit http://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/partners/.

Interest-based Advertising

We may use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our Online Services. These companies may collect information about your visits to our Online Services and other websites and/or apps in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. We also partner with ad networks and other companies that serve ads on behalf of us and others on non-affiliated digital properties. Some of those ads may be personalized, meaning that they are intended to be relevant to you based on information these ad networks collect about your visits to our Online Services and other non-affiliated websites or apps over time.

You may visit www.aboutads.info/choices to learn more about interest-based advertising and how to opt-out of this form of advertising on your web browser by companies participating in the Digital Advertising Alliance (“DAA”) self-regulatory program. If you wish to restrict interest based advertising in mobile apps on your device by companies that participate in the DAA’s AppChoices app, you may download that application onto your device and exercise your choice. AppChoices is available at the links below:

You may also be able to limit data collection by using your browser or mobile device settings. Please note that electing to limit interest-based advertising will not stop all advertising from appearing in your browser or applications. It may make the ads you see less relevant to your interests. Additionally, please note that if you use a different browser or erase cookies from your browser, or use a different device, you may need to renew your setting selections.

How We Use Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

When you use our Sites, we and our third-party data analytics and advertising partners may collect and receive Usage Information from cookies and other internet tracking technologies (together, “cookies”) placed on your device or browser. You can restrict some types of cookies from being placed on your device or browser as indicated below in the section called “How to Restrict Cookies.” Cookies support a wide range of website operations including the following:

Strictly necessary cookies are required for the basic operation and performance of our Sites. These are session cookies that are erased when you close your browser.

Functional/Performance cookies are used to identify and verify you and your device when you log in to access our Sites by storing, for example, your password, device identifier, browser type, operating system, Internet Service Provider (ISP) and Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. These cookies may also enable other features and options you select to operate, recognize and implement your preferences and enable information sharing with third-party providers. These cookies qualify as persistent cookies because they remain on your device or browser for the next time you access the Sites. You can restrict or delete these cookies as explained below.

Analytics Cookies let us know, for example, how you and other visitors interact with our Sites and which other websites you browsed before and after visiting our Sites. We also use this data for statistics about how many people are visiting our Sites, whether visitors are new or repeat visitors, which pages visitors are viewing and for how long and other data about usage of our Sites. These cookies qualify as persistent cookies because they remain on your device or browser after you close the session. You can restrict or delete these cookies as explained below. We may obtain usage and activity data from Lennar Affiliates that operate separate websites and from third parties that host or manage certain features of our Online Services. Each of these companies has its own policies on the collection and use of data collected using cookies and other internet technologies.

Advertising Cookies may be placed on your device or browser by us or our advertising partners including Google Ads and Facebook Ads. We and our advertising partners may use these cookies to build a profile of your interests and show you advertisements on websites, apps and platforms operated by others. Advertising cookies do not store directly identifying personal information, but store data that may uniquely identify your browser and device. You can restrict or delete these cookies as explained below.

E-mail Cookies may be used to give us information such as how you interact with the e-mail, when and whether you opened it, what links you click within the e-mail and if it was forwarded.

Third-Party Features on our Sites are powered by third-party providers that may use cookies in providing these features and functionality.

In particular, information transmitted over the Internet may find its way to recipients to whom it is not intended or persons you may not want to have such information. Under certain circumstances, this may be beyond the control of Lennar, and you are advised that such transmission may not be secure.

We retain personal information for as long as we reasonably require it for legal or business purposes. How You Can Restrict Cookies and Targeted Advertising

As explained in “How We Use Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies,” we may allow third-party analytics services, advertising companies and ad networks (including Google Analytics, Google Ads and Facebook Ads) to track visitor interactions with our Sites and online advertising. They may combine the data collected from our Sites with information collected about your activities on other websites and platforms and use algorithmic tools to help us assess whether our online advertising campaigns are successful and to direct our advertisements to you and other potentially interested users on other websites. • Selecting certain cookie and privacy settings on our Sites by visiting our Cookie Preferences page.

  • Managing the cookie and privacy settings on your browser.

  • Purchasing a utility from an independent software provider that you install on your computer browsers to limit tracking of your browsing activity.

Our Online Services may provide links to the websites of companies providing products and services that may be of interest to you. Each of these companies has its own privacy policy that may differ from Lennar’s Privacy Policy. If you click on the link, you will be transferred to that company’s website, and any personal information you share on that website will be subject to the privacy policy or practices of the website owner and will not be subject to Lennar’s Privacy Policy.
